I wanted to remove the 2nd kitchen table from our kitchen – the one that we used to put all our junk – from lunch bag – to fruit bowl  – to give us more space in the kitchen.  So I decided to look for a smaller table and place the 2nd dining table into the basement for now.  The spouse said it could be use as a laundry table in the future.

There is the above one which is longer – but not as solid with drawers as the second picture – both are almost the same price.   So I had to think about it and choose which one to bring home – we did buy one – on the same day – but not immediately though.  So which one do you think we bought?  both are just as nice and goes for $399 regular price but they were on sale – so we took advantage of the huge discount.

Wicker Emporium is having a 40% off for all furniture and I’m tempted to buy the above – if it wasn’t because of the color.  I would prefer something brownish or mahogany.   This is for part of the kitchen – that will be replacing a huge table we have that we use to put all sorts of things in our kitchen.  I find that our kitchen looked so small because of that table.  But the kids just throw their lunch boxes there everyday and their books and all sorts of knick knacks.  But I’m worried if I were to remove that huge table in our kitchen – where would the kids put their stuff?  But if I don’t remove it – the kitchen would look like a huge mess.  So no – I’m going to definitely have to decide before the sale ends by the end of the week.

My grandmother who used sleeping aid used to own one of this and when i was a kid, I used to think it was so cool to see her writing to her pen pals on this antique writing table.  When i grew older, I hope i would inherit this for my own home but I was still a teenager when she passed away, so all her stuff was given or were inherited by an aunt or an uncle and I never saw it again.   I still dream of owning one of this someday soon but can never find one at a reasonable price nor the right kind of wood  – the one that my grandmother used to own was a rosewood.  If anyone know of one that I can get at a reasonable price, please leave a comment eh.

I have been dying to buy a i-robot for our rugs!  Why..?? because i really don’t have the time to clean my rugs and the entire house.  I wasn’t asking for a lot but just the vacuuming of the place.  But as you all know kids are so demanding these days, that we must spend time with them, therefore, I just wanted to make sure that i works before paying a good $200 for them.

Finally i found a party table extender for this Christmas since the in-laws are coming over for Christmas dinner at our place.  Putting away my new tuxedo for a family dinner this year instead of celebrating at the hotel, maybe a cheaper alternative for everyone in the family.  But instead of buying another table, we decided to get a dinner party extender, that can easily fit up to 8 people instead of our regular 4.

This party table extender is easily found back home but not so here in the west, so when i found it on Grandin Road, i was very happy, you can bring it out when you need it.. or store it away after your Christmas dinner.  At $79.99 for a 48″ and $99.99 for a 54″, definitely beats buying another table just for one day of celebration or you already have a small space or small dining room.

A pretty unique side table.. and can definitely be a piece that other woman will envy when they come by my house for tea or just a visit.  So artistic.. and quite girlish looking.. and will definitely make one’s home and house even more lovelier and fill with the taste of the lady of the house.  This Lily Creep Table is created by Susan Bradley who is definitely talented.  The side table is made of powder coated steel and comes in white and black.  Expect delivery time to be up to 4 weeks.. and the height of the creep table is about 35cm and width of 35cm also, length 59cm.  Well, you can say your typically side table measurements eh.

In my house in Singapore.. i had one of this table for my kitchen.. for breakkie.  I wanted to bring back those childhood memories back.  This kind of marble coffee shop type of table had been so popular during the 70s.  If i remembered correctly.. i paid like almost $400 for a very small table.  I liked the marble top alot.. it’s very cool when you touch it.. and for such a hot place like Singapore.. it was awesome.

Every home needs a console table, don’t you think..?  I use mine for putting my keys.. and out stuff.. like pictures.. and memorable ornaments.. and stuff i bought when i traveled around the world.  Mostly it is for pictures and its frame.   Since it was so cheap.. @ $99 .. i’m sure everyone can afford it.. and it even looks nice just where the doorway is.
