Home Renovation

Inspired a few years ago by the neighbor’s home renovation they did on their own – we too decided that we can do it – after all, we have the hypertherm and all sorts of equipment to help us to our own minor makeover at home.  But time wasn’t on our side – the spouse and I were so busy that we never really finished doing our basement.  So this year, hopefully during the spring, we can gear up and start working on our basement.

But I’ve recruited some help from the extended family this year – and have a  planned schedule to get certain areas completed at a time frame that I think would be feasible.   But of course, there is the wiring to be done first – so a electrician will be called in before we start doing anything.  And the rest will be completed on our own a room at a time.  We figured the laundry room would be the easiest – so good to know that we have in the many years that we’ve had the house bought enough tools to do minor renovation on our own – thus saving us lots of money.
