Indoor Camping For Younger Kids

I was just telling the kids last night that they were old enough to go camping this summer – when my youngest screamed and said ” Nooooooooo!  i don’t want to leave home!”  So I went OooKkkkk – now why is that so ?  you see she doesn’t want to leave home – she is afraid of the dark  – but she don’t know what she is missing.  So like any good mother – I told her that maybe – we can have an indoor camping party with all her friends.  So I used some scanning software and planned out what kind of tent we were going to us and how many friends to invite and planned the kind of food and clothing we need to bring.  And they can all camp in our basement for the first time and see how it goes.  The baby was happy and so we are on our way to only milestone.  I’m kinda excited but my kid is even more – she is going to hand out hand written and drawn out invitations for the friends she wants to invite.
