Smelly House No More

Many friends and relative who drops in to visit always exclaimed in excitement that our house smell so nice.   I usually joke that it is all because of us, we just smell extremely awesome.  But you and I know that it is not true right? and that one can have a nice smelling house just by a few tips and tricks.  This is what i do.  I bake if i know i am having company.  Whether they are cookies or a loaf of bread.. they just turn your house into the warmest in the neighbourhood.  But if you have no time – try using vanilla extract and simmering it on your stove.. as the guest arrives.

I use a lot of essential oil and a burning candle.  I love the orange ones.. but it can be too strong for some ppl, so i sometimes use grapefruit.. or teatree oil.  Or another trick i use is boil water and lemon in your microwave for 30-60 seconds. The lemony steam will make it easier to wipe up the interior of the microwave and your kitchen will smell lemony fresh.
