My girlfriend moved into her new home just last week and during house-warming told us that she had a bad batch of wood .. therefore that explained the color variation.  I didn’t want to steal her thunder, so I thought I should write it down for everyone to know about the hardwood flooring colour variation.  It is not true that you got a bad batch of wood, because wood is graded and milled accordingly and most manufacturers take great lengths to supply their customers with top quality floors.  And most experienced installers will work from several boxes at a time to ensure that any variations are scattered and blended properly.  So read the reviews on the company or the hardwood floorings that you are choosing .. like any other things you would buy .. such as  diet pill reviews for your diet pills.  It is only smart to know what you are getting before getting it.
