My Hardwood Floor Is Scratch Proof

My neighbors were visiting the other day and told me that their hardwood floor is scratch proof.  I had a cup of tea with me and luckily i didn’t spit anything out while she stating the above.

For those who wants to know, there is no such thing as scratch proof floor.  The finish applied by many manufacturers is scratch resistant.  Felt pads should be applied under all furniture and chair legs and be sure to protect your floor whenever you decide to re-arrange your furniture.  It’s also a good idea to use mats at doorways, in heavy traffic areas and underneath office chairs.  Always remember to vacuum or sweep your floors daily to keep away dirt and debris that can lead to unwanted scratch.
